Behold the “Big Nasty” cruising with traffic down an unidentified highway.
A passenger in another car caught this prototype Black Corvette Z06 laying down some highway miles as the Corvette team works to complete the engineering work on the car this summer.
When Chevy released their teaser pic of the C7 Z06, they shared a picture of the drivers side of the car down low which featured just a little bit of the vent in front of the door. Now a new leaked image has come out via a new C7 Corvette site called the C7 Stingray Forum which purports to show the Corvette Z06′s fender badge.
Here’s a welcomed sight through the fence at the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green. Two rows of 2014 Corvette Stingray convertibles in various colors all lined up and looking ready for some sunshine.
Since the 1.1313 reveal, most of the recent sightings of the prototype Corvette Stingrays have been in the Arizona and California but they are also working out in winter climates as well. This Velocity Yellow 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe was spotted on some snow covered back roads in Michigan and it’s the first one we’ve seen wearing a full-body racing stripe.
Now that we’ve witnessed the reveal of the 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe on 1.13.13 and soaked up a few days of being around the new Corvette at NAIAS, attention is turning once again to “future products”, most namely, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible.
The Auto Insider published these photos of what may or may not be the Stingray Convertible and now Chevrolet has issued several denials.
Here is an interesting 2014 C7 Corvette illustration which just happened to show up in the email in-box of automotive spy photographer Chris Doane, who shared the image on his facebook page. It reportedly shows a page from the C7′s forthcoming service manual and the assembly of the front brake cooling deflector kit.
With recent reports that GM engineers have set up shop in in the town of Red River, New Mexico to test the 2014 C7 Corvette, it was only a matter of time before the shaky and blurry images of the prototypes taken by average citizens were replaced with high-resolution shots from professional spy photographers. AutomobileMag.com published a new round of photos and this time we get a peek inside the new Corvettes and a preview of its upgraded interior.
A group of Chevy engineers testing the 2014 C7 Corvette prototypes were spotted in and around the town of Red River, New Mexico late last week. A member on the Corvette Forum named 10KillerVette found this out when his dad called him to say he just saw two C7 Corvettes in full camouflage testing in the mountains around the town. Like any Corvette fan would do, 10KillerVette aka Sean Ziese told his dad Richard to “get his ass back out on the roads with a camera!” And that’s exactly how we got these photos and a brief video to share with you!
It’s been a few months since we’ve last seen the next-generation C7 testing in the wild but spy photographers recently caught up with what most believe to be the 2014 Chevy Corvette.
While the new Corvette isn’t expected to debut until January at Detroit’s NAIAS auto show, you can still soak in all that horsepower goodness by checking out these spy pics from automobilemag.com and then bang the “Read More” button for a quick trip around the C7 rumor mill.
