The National Corvette Museum’s Bash kicks off later this week and one of the special events happening over the three-day event is the raffle of this Velocity Yellow 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible tribute to Andy Pilgrim, who was inducted into the Corvette Hall of Fame last September.

It’s that time of year again to talk about Saint Bernard’s Classic Corvette Giveway. This is the 25th anniversary for the classic Corvette raffle and all proceeds benefit the Saint Bernard Church and School in Rockport, Indiana. While the last couple of years have featured a midyear Corvette as the grand prize, this year’s raffle is for a 1960 Horizon Blue Corvette Roadster.

On Thursday, Jason Mills became the second Bowling Green resident to win a Corvette through recent National Corvette Museum raffles.

This week, the National Corvette Museum is raffling off a 2013 Night Race Blue Metallic ZR1 that even has a little more than the customary bling to it since it was the personal car of Corvette Exterior Designer Kirk Bennion. And you won’t have to wait long to find out if you’ll be picking it up – the drawing is set for Thursday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. Central Time.
So when is undertaking a 1,360 mile road trip a good thing? How about if there was a classic Corvette waiting for you at the end of the journey?
Edward Ess of Batavia, NY arrived in Rockport, Indiana last week with a car hauler to pick up a 1966 Nassau Blue Corvette convertible valued at $80,000. His name was drawn on July 8th as the winner of the 24 Annual Classic Corvette Giveaway benefiting Saint Bernard Parish and School in Rockport, Indiana.

Last year we had the opportunity to help the Saint Bernard Catholic Church in Southern Indiana get the word out about their annual Corvette fundraiser and we’re pleased to announce the details of their new 2012 Classic Corvette giveaway. The annual raffle is an important fundraiser as it provides much needed funds for the Church’s school and daycare programs in Rockport. So without further ado, this year’s Saint Bernard giveaway is a big block powered 1966 Nassau Blue Corvette convertible.
The National Corvette Museum’s Corvette raffles provides the non-profit organization with the necessary funds to carry out their day to day operations. But let’s face it, not everyone can participate in some of the higher end raffles which cost anywhere from $100 to $500 per ticket. That’s why we appreciate the raffle coming up this Thursday that’s for us “regular Joes” who can afford to lay down $10 for the opportunity to help the museum and maybe win a brand new 2012 Corvette Coupe!
