Quarter Mile

Via CorvetteVideos.TV

This C5 Corvette racer with a solid axle from Moser Engineering nearly stands on its rear bumper when the light turns green. The driver powers through 60′ or so of track on just two wheels. Amazingly, the car stays under control as it drops back to four wheels and heads down the track.

The newest addition to the C5 Corvette lineup over at Bayou Boyz racing is being tested. This will be the 3rd C5 to join the team proving how competitive this package has become.

Now, Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Ariz., is giving these young men a chance to drive fast under controlled conditions, hopefully keeping them safe from harm.

One such driver Friday night was 16-year-old Clay Armstrong, who drag-raced his first car – a C4 Corvette that reached speeds of 130mph in 12 seconds – with his mother’s blessings.

by Keith Cornett on February 15, 2014

OK, this is pretty awesome. Corvette Stingray vs C6 Z06. Stingray is faster on launch but then that Z06′s torque curve kicks in.

The C6 Z06 has bolt-ons and the C7 has heads/cam and runs 10′s. Who do you think will win this?
