On Saturday, November 8th our friends at ProTeam Corvette Sales will be hosting a Corvette Technical seminar along with the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS). This year’s topic will be Corvette’s Performance Evolution. The all-day seminar is open to both NCRS members and the general public. The $25 admission fee includes both breakfast and lunch.
ProTeam Corvette Sales
Back in 2006 and 2007 ProTeam Corvette Sales purchased, restored, and sold the last 1967 Corvette produced. The Last Sting Ray fetched $660,000 at the 2007 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction and was the subject of a series on SPEED.
Proteam has an article on their website about the very first Corvette Sting Ray, a silver 1963 coupe built under a Shop Order in 1962. The has car spent its entire life in Europe and has been rarely seen. Its last 30 years have been spent in a private collection. Back in the first part of 2011, ProTeam Corvette Sales posted an article on their website seeking more information on Dick Lang’s 1963 Corvette Z06 racer which they had recently discovered. After several months and a $224,000 Nabers Brothers restoration, they unveiled the recently completed car last weekend during a NCRS-sponsored Corvette Seminar at their Napoleon, Ohio facility. This was the first time it had been seen by the public since being returned to its Daytona racing livery.
