Jalopnik found this video showing the filming in Washington D.C. of the latest Marvel Comic’s Avengers series, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In the video, we see a Black 2014 Corvette Stingray pull up and actor Chris Evans aka Captain America walks down the sidewalk and stops at the passenger side door.

Arnold Schwarzenegger still knows how to make action movies after a 10-year absence while he took on other projects… like running the state of California.

Johnny Depp just wrapped up production for his upcoming new movie, “The Rum Diary” based on the novel by Hunter S. Thompson. To show his appreciation to the actor, the movie’s producer Graham King presented Depp with the keys to the red 1959 Corvette roadster that was used in movie.
Patrick Gramm of Gramm Productions/Digital Corvettes has teamed up with Onset3D Studios to begin work on a new project called the “Corvette 3D Experience”. It’s going to be the first 3D documentary about Corvettes and it will bring the coolest Corvettes from six generations right into the living room of viewers through the power of high-definition 3D. When Fast Five opens in theaters later this month, fans of the Fast & Furious franchise will be treated to another round of beautiful cars doing some of the most outrageous stunts conceived. One of the hero cars used in the opening sequence is a 1963 Corvette Grand Sport replica that we first caught a glimpse of in the trailer that aired during this year’s Super Bowl. Edmunds get’s their hands on the very car driven by Vin Diesel and brings us a cool video showcasing the car and how it was used in the filming of Fast Five.
NASCAR star and Corvette owner Jeff Gordon will be featured in the upcoming Cars 2 animated movie from Pixar. Gordon will be voicing the character of a Corvette C6.R named Jeff Gorvette, one of greatest American racecars alive, according to the bio found on the official Cars 2 website. Cars 2 will hit theaters on June 24, 2011.

When the class-winning 1960 #3 Briggs Cunningham Corvette returned to France in 2010, it marked the 50th anniversary of its historic victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Filmmaker Michael Brown documented the dream of renowned Corvette enthusiast Chip Miller in this feature-length saga of machine and man as well as the promise of a son to fulfill his father’s wish that was 50 years in the making. “The Quest” will make its worldwide premiere at Carlisle, PA on May 6th with proceeds benefiting the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation.
The 1972 Corvette Convertible driven by Chris Tucker in the movie Rush Hour is up for grabs on eBay. The current bid is at $17,990 and there is just a little over one day left for bidding. The Corvette has a reserve price which has not yet been met, and the Buy It Now price is listed at $49,998. The seller claims that this Corvette is one of the most famous Corvettes in existence due to the movies. I don’t think I would go that far, but the 72 Corvette Stingray is a beauty, despite the fact that Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan signed the dash.
