When Chevy released their teaser pic of the C7 Z06, they shared a picture of the drivers side of the car down low which featured just a little bit of the vent in front of the door. Now a new leaked image has come out via a new C7 Corvette site called the C7 Stingray Forum which purports to show the Corvette Z06’s fender badge.
Now that we’ve witnessed the reveal of the 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe on 1.13.13 and soaked up a few days of being around the new Corvette at NAIAS, attention is turning once again to “future products”, most namely, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible.
The Auto Insider published these photos of what may or may not be the Stingray Convertible and now Chevrolet has issued several denials.
On Sunday evening, Corvette Forum member “Blue Ox” promised a Christmas gift for those that follow the C7 threads and then proceeded to post a bevy of images that appear to come from a service manual or user’s guide.
Last week a similar image of the C7’s nose was leaked.
Included in the image dump is a definitive view of the C7 Corvette’s rear end, an interior drawing showing the drivers cockpit and there is an actual gauge photo too. But that’s not all as some specific features of the C7 have been detailed as well.
Here is an interesting 2014 C7 Corvette illustration which just happened to show up in the email in-box of automotive spy photographer Chris Doane, who shared the image on his facebook page. It reportedly shows a page from the C7’s forthcoming service manual and the assembly of the front brake cooling deflector kit.
Want to get the first glimpse of an actual C7 body component? Omega Tool Corp put out a video that demonstrates their ability to manufacture exterior parts and they just happened to choose the front fascia of the Corvette as their subject matter. Unfortunately, we think someone there
will be getting has received a phone call from Team Corvette asking why they choose to show the still-in-development 2014 C7 Corvette’s front fascia to showcase in the video.
