Katech Track Attack Engine Package Gives C7 Corvette LT1 Over 650 hp without a Supercharger

They have developed what they call their Track Attack Engine Package that will give a normally aspirated LT1 over 650 horsepower without resorting to supercharging or turbocharging. Corvette enthusiasts know that perhaps the easiest way to get more power from an engine is to add a supercharger and some other go fast parts. But that may not necessarily be the best way if you’re planning on turning your Corvette into a dedicated racer.

Katech Performance is showing a different route performance junkies and dedicated racers can take with the Stingray’s Gen 5 LT1 V8 by going back to the naturally aspirated 427 “stroker” design which Katech says its capable of producing upwards of 703 horsepower and 625 lb-ft on 93 octane fuel.

Katech Performance to host Track Attack 2014 at Autobahn Country Club

Katech Performance will host Track Attack 2014, a two-day high performance driving event (HPDE), at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL on July 21 & 22, a perfect opportunity to give your Corvette some exercise and polish up your driving skills. The Track Attack will be held on the Autobahn’s 2.1-mile, 15-turn South Circuit.
