Article contributed by Dave Salvatore / Kerbeck Corvette

We just got done reviewing the new incentives that GM has announced and it appears that Corvette is going to ride the wave of a very successful month in sales by keeping all of the current incentives.

The special APR of 0% up to 60 months and 2.9% for 72 months has been extended along with the $1,500 dealer cash.

February 2012 Corvette Sales

We got the new sales figures for February from General Motors yesterday and it looks as though Corvette Sales have rebounded from the dismal 629 Corvettes sold in January. In February, 927 Corvettes were delivered to new owners. This is slightly down from 2011’s 955 Corvettes sold. For the year, sales are running -7.2% off of 2011 with 1,556 total deliveries so far in 2012.

December 2011 Corvette Sales

General Motor’s December sales report was issued yesterday and shows that Corvette sales rebounded slightly in the final month of 2011. In December, Chevrolet sold 1,038 Corvettes for a 6.0% increase over December 2010’s 979 deliveries. For the calendar year of 2011, Corvette sales closed 4.3% higher than 2010 with a total of 13,164 Corvettes sold compared to 12,624.

Forbes: 2011 Corvette a Top 10 New Car Deal for July

The writers at Forbes obviously know a good investment when they see one. In their list of “Top 10 New Car Deals for July”, Forbes looks at the best deals and incentives offered by the automakers, specifically the direct-to-consumer cash rebates, discounted financing promotions and marketing-support incentives which are additional dealer discounts. With the 2012 Corvette on the way, Chevy wants to move the 2011s and Forbes took notice of the sweet deal on America’s favorite sports car.

New Corvette Buyers Get Free 2 Day Driving School

A very cool new incentive to help boost Corvette sales was being by touted by several dealers over the weekend. With a purchase of any new 2010 or 2011 Corvette (coupe, convertible, Grand Sport or Z06), you will receive the complimentary two-day ZR1 Driving School at either Bondurant’s School of High Performance Driving or the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain. Buyers of the ZR1 already get the two-day driving class so if you buy a new ZR1 during this incentive period, you’ll receive a complimentary third day. You must purchase a new Corvette between Jan 4 – February 28, 2011. More details of this great incentive are after the jump.

GM Offers Rebate on 2009-10 Corvette ZR1

One of the concerns we’ve had over the past few months is the growing inventory surplus of Corvette ZR1s. Since January this year, the amount of available Corvette ZR1s has grown from 175 units to over 500 at the beginning of July. GM has obviously seen the trend as well and has decided to offer the very first rebates for the 638-horsepower supercharged Corvette.

New Rebates and Financing Incentives Available for Corvette Buyers

When we published the April 2010 Corvette Sales Report on Monday, we noted that GM would probably be offering some incentives to move the more than 4,500 Corvettes that are currently available in dealer showrooms. Sure enough, we checked with our friends at Kerbeck Corvette and there are several incentives and rebates available for the 2009 and 2010 Corvette.
