Back on Labor Day weekend earlier this year the National Corvette Museum officially opened their new Motorsports Park. The freshly minted facility recently held its first official High Performance Driving Event (HDPE) on September 27th and 28th. In the video after the break we get a quick look at all of various festivities that took place a couple weeks ago.
One of the core missions of the National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park has always been to promote the improvement of driver skills.
Now that the Motorsports Park has officially opened, that mission will roar into action with the inaugural High Performance Driving Event coming up later this month.

Katech Performance will host Track Attack 2014, a two-day high performance driving event (HPDE), at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL on July 21 & 22, a perfect opportunity to give your Corvette some exercise and polish up your driving skills. The Track Attack will be held on the Autobahn’s 2.1-mile, 15-turn South Circuit.
The Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park has been busy booking events for the track once it opens over Labor Day weekend. One of the first driving events to be held at the new track will be hosting by the Corvette Museum and will give Corvette owners the opportunity to be among the first to drive the circuit.
