Chevrolet's Harlan Charles Talks with Bloomberg Radio about the Stingray School

Harlan Charles admits he has the ultimate job for a Corvette enthusiast in his role as Corvette product and marketing manager for GM/Chevrolet.

In the span of a short six-minute interview with Bloomberg Radio’s Pimm Fox and Carol Massar on May 22, Charles manages to give a brief rundown on all the great things happening with Corvettes now and in the coming months.

That includes the special Stingray School that’s being offered to new Corvette owners for $1,000 (some $1,500 off the normal price) at the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch near Las Vegas.

At the National Corvette Museum’s Annual Bash, Corvette’s Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter and Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles went through the highlights of the 2014 Stingray. The new C7 fared pretty well last year, picking up more awards than any other car. In fact, they said that it was most likely the most awarded car ever.

Following the 2014 highlights, Tadge and Harlan jumped right into the “What’s New for the 2015 Corvette” talk, starting with the all new Corvette Z06 coupe and convertible.

[VIDEO] C7 Corvette Stingray Goes on Sale in Russia

During the media preview at the New York Auto Show last week, we caught an interview with Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles. Harlan was talking with a Russian video news agency known as RuptlyTV and during the conversation, he made it known that for the first time ever, Corvettes will officially be sold in Russia.

Yesterday at a special preview party for Chevrolet at the New York International Auto show, the Laguna Blue 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible was driven onto the stage and then GM’s Mark Reuss introduced the new drop-top super car, once again referring to the high performance C7 model as “The Big Nasty”.

[VIDEO] Corvette Production Team Seminar at the 2014 12 Hours of Sebring

Corvette’s Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter and Product Manager Harlan Charles were in Sebring last weekend for the 12 hour race and on Friday morning they spoke to the Corvette owners and enthusiasts in the Corvette corral.

But before we heard from the Corvette Team, former Corvette Racing driver and VP at Bondurant Driving School Johnny O’Connell led the crowd in singing Happy Birthday to Tadge who celebrated his birthday on Friday.
