Corvette enthusiasts all around the world continue celebrate the marks 60th anniversary in 2013. Le Corvette Club de France will be hosting a 2 day get together August 31st and September 1st at the La Ferté Gaucher race track in France. For you geography buffs, that’s located between Paris and the Champagne region. Even though the event will be held in France, they’re inviting enthusiasts from around the world to attend.

When Bloomington Gold announced that they were moving to Champaign, IL after 10 years St. Charles, IL they did so in order to facilitate bigger and better Corvette-related events like an improved GoldTour. Now they’ve taken the wraps off of their Corvette-only Gold Autocross making its debut at this year’s show.
Zip Corvette is back again this year with the 2nd Annual “Cruisin’ in the Fast Lane” customer appreciation cruise-in! Corvette owners will converge on the grounds of Zip’s corporate headquarters this Saturday, May 4 from 10am – 3pm for a day of fun, food and of course, Corvettes!

Last week we attended the New York Auto Show and were able to see the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. It made its American debut wearing Night Race Blue with the 3LT Brownstone interior. While We were very impressed by the new convertible model and its distinct “Corvette” profile, it was the interior that had us wagging our tongues. If you were impressed by the previous C7 interiors you’ve seen, the 3LT Brownstone redefines the standard of luxury available on the new Corvette.
The worldwide appeal of the Chevrolet Corvette was never more evident than during a recent event in Abu Dhabi, thousands of miles away from the assembly plant in Bowling Green, Ky.
An exclusive drag day event for Corvette owners helped kick off the Corvette UAE Club’s Chevrolet Knights chapter on March 15 at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. More than 100 Corvette owners and guests attended the event.

The Petersen Automotive Museum is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Corvette with a special weekend of events on Friday and Saturday (March 1 and 2).
The 2013 rendition of the Bloomington Gold Corvette show is just about 4 months away and now’s the time to sign up if you’re planning on attending or showing a car. Registration for this year’s show opens up on Friday, February 15th. The June 28-30th festival of Corvettes will be held for the first time this year on the University of Illinois campus in Champaign.
