[PICS] C5 Corvette Wins Our WTF Award With Tacky Stick-On Upgrades

Okay, we don’t actually have a “WTF Award” but if we did, this red C5 Corvette from the state of Washington would be a major contender. We haven’t seen a Corvette this messed up since the infamous Dragon Vette.

A Corvette Forum moderator named MasterDave spotted this Corvette in a Pet’s Mart parking lot in Federal Way, Washington.

Normally we have a “Let the Corvette owner customize his ride” attitude but sometimes customizing goes too far. We warn you. What you are about to see cannot be unseen…

[PICS] 1986 Corvettes Customized on SPEED's Car Warriors From Us on Twitter

Last night on SPEED, we watched two shops from California duke it out as they attempted to modify and customize a 1986 Corvette in 48 hours. In the end, the blue team hailing from Shinbone Alley in Fresno came out on top with their 1986 Corvette which was finished in two-tone black and copper. The red team, from Sledsville in So-Cal, also went black and gold with their build, but their ambitious plan for customizing their Corvette was just too much to accomplish in 48 hours. Our friends at SPEED sent us some additional photography of the cars taken during filming of the show and we’ll share them with you after the jump.

[PICS] 1976 Corvettes Customized on SPEED's Car Warriors

Last night on SPEED’s Car Warriors, the Challengers (red team) took on the All Stars (blue team) in the customizing build-off of two 1976 Corvettes and walked away with the win (as well as both cars). The All Stars vision for their Corvette was much more over the top then the Challengers, but it was the road test that probably sealed the win as the All Stars car was deemed “unsafe” to drive by all three judges. Our friends at SPEED sent us some additional photography of the cars taken during filming of the show and we’ll share them with you after the jump.
