The National Corvette Museum’s Bash kicks off later this week and one of the special events happening over the three-day event is the raffle of this Velocity Yellow 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible tribute to Andy Pilgrim, who was inducted into the Corvette Hall of Fame last September.
This year’s NCM Bash will offer Corvette enthusiasts a special excuse to head to Bowling Green for the annual event that traditionally offers the first in-person look at the new models.

This week, the National Corvette Museum is raffling off a 2013 Night Race Blue Metallic ZR1 that even has a little more than the customary bling to it since it was the personal car of Corvette Exterior Designer Kirk Bennion. On June 30th, 1953 a white on red two-seat roadster rolled off the end of an assembly line in Flint, Michigan. 60 years later, the Corvette still lives on as the longest running mark in automotive history. Back in 1994 the National Corvette Museum opened its doors for business for the first time. Each year since they’ve commemorated the occasion with a 3-day celebration on Labor Day weekend. In 2014 the museum will be celebrating its 20th anniversary of the Grand Opening and registration for the event is already open.
Here is an interesting Corvette spotted on the Boulevard inside the National Corvette Museum. It’s a 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible with the 60th Anniversary package. But as you can see, the Corvette is also wearing the same Indy 500 graphics that the 2013 Corvette ZR1 wore as the Pace Car for the Greatest Spectacle in Racing earlier this year in May.
