The General Motors Design Team is responsible for drawing up the latest vehicle designs for the company, but have you ever wondered what these members have in their garages?

For the last three years, the GM Design Team has hosted a car show on the Wednesday prior to the Woodward Dream Cruise featuring their own personal cars. From Corvettes to ratrods, classic Chevys to modern customs, the rides of the designers show an eclectic mix of love for all things automotive.

2012 Corvettes on Woodward is set for August 15th - 17th

Each year on the Wednesday before the annual Woodward Dream Cruise Corvette enthusiasts gather to support the Open Hands Food Pantry in Royal Oak, MI. Over the last few years organizer Larry Courtney has grown the event from a one-day cruise down famous Woodward Avenue to a multi-day festival of all things Corvette. This year’s festivities kick off on Wednesday August 15th. Read on the see all of the activities on deck this year.

Corvettes Heading to Flint Michigan for Back to the Bricks Reunion

Flint, Michigan’s Back to the Bricks festival started as a one-day throwback to the cruises of the 1950s and a smaller alternative to the congestion of the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit.

Now the Flint event has grown so much that it drew more than 400,000 to last year’s festival.

Flint has special meaning for Corvette enthusiasts since the city is the birthplace of America’s sports car, with the first 300 1953 models being built at a factory off Van Slyke Avenue there. In fact, the first one rolled off the assembly line on June 19, 1953.

The National Corvette Homecoming is July 19th – 21st

The National Corvette Homecoming set for July 19th – 21st at the Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This year marks the 31st anniversary of the three-day celebration of Corvettes.

The National Corvette Homecoming (NCH) has welcomed Corvette owners and enthusiasts from all over the US and Canada since its inception in 1981. The annual pilgrimage back to the Corvette’s birthplace allows owners to interact with one another and participate in countless activities throughout the weekend.

[VIDEO] Netherlands Hosts 10th Annual Corvette Fame show

Our Corvette brothers and sisters in the Netherlands recently hosted the 10th annual Corvette Fame car show which brought out an estimated 350 Corvettes to the Gardens of the Holland Casino at Valkenburg aan de Geul.

Like any typical Corvette show you would attend here in the states, the Corvette Fame show offers a little something for everybody. And if you like to watch videos of Corvettes with a bit of freaky-deaky Dutch electronic music in the background, then we’ve got a special treat for you.
