Calling our friends in the Great White North to be on the lookout for this blue C5 Corvette Z06 racer that was stolen from the driveway of the owner’s parents house in Waterloo, Ontario. The Corvette was parked on a trailer and attached to a truck and the thieves took all three last Friday night/Saturday morning.
For some, the lure of owning a Corvette is sometimes taken to extremes.
Take this 2011 Corvette Grand Sport for example.
The car must have made one heck of an impression on someone as it was stolen from a Canadian car dealer last week by being driven through a glass window.
Corvettes are known for their power.
This black 1974 Corvette is known now for its ability to knock out the power to nearly 700 customers after it collided with a utility pole over the weekend.
More than 500 cars, trucks, and bikes will be on display at the 15th annual General Motors St. Catharines plant car show in Ontario, Canada on Friday.
But you can bet the most popular vehicle will be the all-new 2014 Corvette Stingray, with one of the seventh-generation cars slated to be on display at the show.
Canadian Tire Motorsport Park has been good to Compuware Corvettes
BOWMANVILLE, ONTARIO (July 16, 2013) – It’s time for Corvette Racing to head north of the border for its annual visit to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The American Le Mans Series’ lone Canadian event is the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix – a race Corvette Racing has won nine times since 2001.
After a major thunderstorm swept through Toronto on Monday afternoon and dumped the equivalent of one month’s worth of rain in four hours, reports of flash floods starting pouring in. We caught a tweet from @meltait who is a/the multimedia editor/video producer for the Winnipeg Free Press. She shared a pic of this yellow Corvette submerged under an overpass.
A living legend in the Corvette world will be honored this fall when he is inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame.
Ron Fellows and five other Canadians – the late Bob Armstrong, Jimmy Carr, Tom Walters, and Jon and Sharon Fletcher – will be inducted during a ceremony in Toronto on Sept. 28, 2013.

Police in Chatsworth, Ontario, Canada are searching for a thief who knows his round around an automobile restoration shop.
Instead of stealing the whole 1971 Corvette stored in a house garage on Grey Road 40 in Grey County, Ontario, a thief just picked and chose what he wanted from the car: some $10,000 worth of parts that included a head valve, carburetor, ignition system, water pump, transmission, and drive shaft.
It was a long time coming, but Doug Penn of British Columbia finally has the 1957 Corvette of his dreams. If his two boys have anything to say about it, it’ll be the car of their dreams, too, for a long time.
Actually, Doug has owned the car since 1976, paying just $2,800 for the 427-powered vehicle back then. It served him well as a single man, and he even took his future wife, Doreen, on their first date in the car. It had been stored for 33 years, though.
