Hot Rod Magazine recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of the big block Chevrolet Mark IV engine with a world-exclusive dyno test of one of the 427 Mystery Motors built by Smokey Yunick.

The 427 Mark II Mystery Motor isn’t actually part of the legendary Mark IV family, which debuted in 1965, but you can definitely consider it the missing link between the 348/409 and big-block Chevy engine families since it has characteristics from both.

1963 Corvette Convertible Fuelie Offered at No Reserve at Mecum Auction in Las Vegas

Mecum Auctions will be offering a 1963 Corvette Sting Ray convertible with the 360-horsepower, fuel-injected engine at no reserve at their Rogers Classic Car Museum auction in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Tuxedo Black roadster with a black interior will cross the block as Lot S177 on Saturday, February 28, 2015. The Corvette is part of approximately 230 cars from the Rogers Classic Car Museum that will be offered at no reserve.

Corvettes on eBay: His and Hers 1964 Project Corvette Sting Rays

Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but someone could get an early start on 2016 with these two his-and-hers 1964 Corvette convertibles up for auction as a pair on eBay.

St. Bernard Classic Corvette Giveaway is Offering a 1967 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible

Our good friends from the Saint Bernard Catholic Parish in Rockport, IN have once again outdone themselves for their annual fundraiser.

For the 27th year of Saint Bernard’s classic Corvette giveaway, the southern Indiana church is offering a beautiful red 1967 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible.

[VIDEO] Astronaut Gus Grissom's 1967 Corvette Lands in Wilmington, NC

For Wilmington, N.C., auto dealer Don Latham, the 1967 Corvette Sting Ray he bought at a Florida auction last week has the right stuff.

You see, he bought one of the Corvettes owned by the “Mercury Seven,” the men chosen by NASA in April 1959 to lead America into the Space Age.

All seven of the astronauts had a Corvette, and this one belonged to Virgil “Gus” Grissom, who was one of the three astronauts who died on the launch pad aboard Apollo 1 on Jan. 27, 1967.
