No doubt a lot of parents could have been arrested in the 1950s and 1960s for letting their children ride in the back of their two-seater Corvettes.

I remember one person writing on one of the forums about bolting a car seat in the back of his C2 Corvette to allow his kids to enjoy the car back in the day. I’m sure others didn’t go that far and just let their kids ride in the big area behind the seats in their 1963-67 Sting Rays.

I was talking to a friend the other day about the impending end of the C6 Corvette. We theorized where that last 2013 Corvette would turn up. What auction it may show up at, whose collection it could end up in, and what it options it would have. Coincidentally a new thread popped up on Corvette Forum last month inquiring as to the location of the last C3 Corvette. As it turns out, that’s the only “last” Corvette we can’t account for. We know where the last C1, C2, C4, and C5’s are, but where is 1982 Corvette VIN 25407?

Corvettes For Sale: 1982 Corvette Caballista

In the late 1970’s the 3rd generation Corvette was languishing thanks to an aging platform and new government emissions and fuel economy requirements. Eager gearheads would do just about anything to make their ride stand out from the crowd. Enter customizer Les Dunham and the Corvette Caballista. His Dunham Coach Motor Car Company built just 50 Caballistas between 1977 and 1982. The example seen here is a later model based on 1982 Collector Edition Corvette.
