Just a few weeks after buying this 1968 L89 Corvette convertible from Potamkin Chevrolet in Philadelphia, the owner went out and used it to set a track record.
With new slicks and a 4.56 gear set installed by a Philly speed shop, the car roared to a time of 11.89 seconds @ 117mph.

The U-Drags format allows us to see all kinds of performance data that starts with a 0-60 MPH launch and then a quarter mile run. Then there is the hard braking zone and the hard turn-around measures max cornering. Finally, it’s a rolling race back to the finish the line for the final run time.
