Bloomington Gold to Welcome Camaros for 2019 Event


Big news out of the Bloomington Gold camp this week! After several years of contemplation, the show will be expanding to include Chevrolet Camaros in addition to Corvettes for the 2019 show. This is the first ever that another mark has been part of the Bloomington event.

So when I heard about this new patent from GM that demonstrates the technology with a C7 Corvette, I immediately asked myself, “Ok, who requested the power doors option?”

Judge Orders the Sale of the Briggs Cunningham 1960 Le Mans Corvette Racer


Another significant milestone in the ongoing court battle over a historic 1960 Corvette that competed in the Le Mans race 58 years ago appears to have been reached recently.

Porter Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Clymer has ordered that the car – one of three that were the first Corvettes to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France in 1960 – be placed in the care of and then sold by an Indianapolis-based receiver appointed by the court.

Of course, the sale of the same car was also ordered some 3½ years ago.

[PIC] The C8 Mid-Engine Corvette Illuminates its Tail Lights


We’ve been talking about the sightings the two C8 Corvette mid-engine prototypes this week as more and more people have shared images they captured of the car on social media. In the first photos, the front LED headlights were glimpsed and now here’s a new photo showing the C8 Corvette’s rear brake lights illuminated in heavy traffic. These lights look much closer to a final design which probably explains the differences in the rear camouflage coverings over them.
