This Arctic White Corvette coupe is shown in this twitter video as its being drenched by a broken fire hydrant. With the position of the car being at a 90-degree angle as opposed to the rest of the traffic, we should assume the Corvette may have been the cause.

As Chevrolet prepares to close the chapter on the C7 Corvette generation, they appear to have one final gift for enthusiasts – a new C7 Special Edition.
No public announcement has been made regarding a Special Edition model, but if you look close at the agenda of events happening at the Corvette corral for next weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, you would see an event scheduled for 11:30 am on Friday, January 25th for the “2019 Corvette Special Edition Announcement at the Chevrolet Experience”.

Another great event is in the books after our friends at Mecum wrapped up the world’s largest collector car auction in Kissimmee, Florida.
The Chevrolet Corvette was well represented with a total 365 Corvettes available for sale during the 10-day auction event. Of those cars, a total of 236 Corvettes were sold which represents a 64% sell-through rate for the model. The combined total for Corvettes sold during the Kissimmee auction was $14,527,700.
Now that IMSA has had the opportunity to review the data and crunch the numbers following the three-day “Roar” test earlier in January at Daytona International Speedway, the series’ competition committee has issued the Balance of Performance tables to the teams.

Last week we told you about a new full-length documentary called “American Original” that features 13 different Corvettes driven and reviewed. The film was shot in and around Salt Lake City and it’s described as being part Corvette retrospective and part travelogue featuring great roads and experiences.
One of the highlights is this 10-minute road test of the 2019 Corvette ZR1 with both hosts clearly having a great time behind the 755-hp supercar.

For years, Corvette owners in some states have had to ruin the aerodynamics, engine cooling, and overall look by attaching a front license plate.
Some relief could be on the way in North Dakota, according to a story we found on valleynewslive.com.
But the bad news is that the way a new law is currently proposed, only a few Corvettes would be eligible.
