Back at the end of 2017, Chevrolet introduced a software upgrade for the C7 Corvette’s Magnetic Ride Control Shocks. The new calibrations improved performance and handling while also improving ride quality.

The Magnetic Ride Control Calibration upgrades are performed at your Chevrolet dealer at a cost of $350, and most of the reviews we’ve read on the upgrades have been very positive.

General Motors Sells 5,788 Corvettes in the Second Quarter of 2019


General Motors posted the 2nd quarter sales results for 2019 and we are actually seeing a gain in sales over last year’s total. Not by much, but it’s a positive number and we are good with that!

During the months of April-June, Chevrolet sold 5,788 new Corvettes. That’s a 0.1% increase over the 5,758 Corvettes sold during the 2nd quarter of 2018. For the calendar year to date, Chevrolet has sold 9,731 new Corvettes which is down 5% from the 10,242 Corvettes sold during the same time period in 2018.

Our long Monday commute got some unexpected excitement Monday morning when a camouflaged C8 Corvette showed up in a construction zone on southbound I75 in Auburn Hills, MI. This prototype C8 came rolling by about 7:30 am while we battled the morning rush. We were fortunate to pass by it a few times in the ebb and flow of traffic and safely snap some pix.
