Earlier this month we provided the factory details about the recommended procedures for properly breaking in your 2014 Corvette Stingray. Those procedures are based on reaching 200, 500 and 1500 miles. As more and more Stingrays end up in customers hands, we found out that GM provides a visual clue on the tachometer in regards to the 500 mile break-in process.
I really like how the Corvette Stingray sounds on these dyno videos. Like this one from Late Model Racecraft after a Heads/Cam swap. With those upgrades, the car is pushing 470 rwhp. Headers coming next.

Garcia, Magnussen look for ALMS GT drivers’ title at end of 1,000-mile enduro
DETROIT (Oct. 14, 2014) – Only one more race separates Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen from the American Le Mans Series’ GT drivers’ championship. Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta is the site of the final round of the 2013 ALMS but also the series’ finale as well. The 1,000-mile/10-hour endurance classic has been a staple at Road Atlanta – an hour northeast of Atlanta – since its first running in 1998.

What a great shot of a Corvette Stingray wrapped in a black matte exterior! The matte black really highlights the individual straight edges on the hood and yet it also seems to accentuate the curves.
The C7 Corvette was spotted at a Cars and Coffee gathering in California over the weekend.
Here’s another 2014 Corvette Stingray that met its demise much too soon. Like the Velocity Yellow Corvette Stingray accident we showed last week, details on this crash are so far non-existent. We can only surmise that based on the windshield, this Corvette was involved in a serious accident and may have been rolled. Let’s hope the driver is okay!
Let’s face it. Since Chevrolet started delivering the new 2014 Corvette Stingrays, it seems like they are now everywhere. My twitter and youtube feeds are full of new spottings and First Time videos, but this video of two Corvette Stingrays on the dragstrip running against each other was something I had to share!
