We got a few things to unpack here regarding 2024 Corvette E-Ray allocations and their lead up to production which as far as we know is still expected to start the week of October 23rd as previously announced. Of course, a strike against BGAP or lingering issues with the supply chain could put that date in jeopardy, but that’s what it is as of now.

The winner of the famous VH1 contest passed on it when he sold the entire collection of 36 Corvettes to pop artist Peter Max, who then left the collection sitting in a number of NYC parking garages for several decades. Finally, after the original 36 Lost Corvettes were rescued, cleaned up, and given away in the Lost Corvettes Giveaway with proceeds going to a veteran’s charity, the winner of this ’69 declined the keys and took the cash option instead! During the National Corvette Museum’s 29th Anniversary Celebration, three new members were officially inducted into the Corvette Hall of Fame.
Officially recognized for their contributions to the Corvette hobby, the three new members are John Amgwert, founding member of the NCRS and editor of the Corvette Restorer magazine, Dan Binks, retired crew chief for Corvette Racing, and David Wickman, retired GM Vehicle Performance Manager of the Milford Proving Ground.
