On Friday morning we hopped a flight to Philly and eventually made our way to Kerbeck Corvette in Atlantic City for the East Coast Reveal of the 2020 Corvette Stingray. The “World’s Largest Corvette Dealer” had the first showing of the new 2020 Corvette on the eastern leg of the C8’s Dealer Tour and they didn’t disappoint.

I spent Sunday at the Concours d’Elegance of America in Plymouth, MI. My main intent was to have my first in-person encounter with the 2020 Corvette. Why should Keith get to have all the fun, right? Once my C8 mission was complete I checked out the rest of the amazing show and then set off back to the Detroit Bureau regional headquarters.

Don’t expect the manual transmission ever to make a comeback in the Chevrolet Corvette.
At least that’s the word from Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter, who says Chevy couldn’t find anybody willing to manufacture such a transmission for the new mid-engine Stingray.
