One of the most historically significant Corvettes in history is going on the block at Mecum Auction’s Aug. 13-15 event in Monterey, California.
One of just two surviving 1971 ZR2 convertibles, this special Corvette is expected to bring a whopping $350,000 to $450,000 at the auction. (Ten ZR2 coupes were produced.)

Fans of the Tension Blue interior that was exclusively featured on the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition are happy to see that Chevrolet has included the color for the C8 Corvette.
For the 2020 Corvette, the bright Tension Blue is paired with the darker Twilight Blue to create a beautiful two-tone design that will only be offered for the Corvettes with the 3LT interior. Additionally, only seven exterior colors are offered if you want the Tension/Twilight dipped interior: White, Ceramic Gray, Silver, Black, Shadow Gray, Rapid Blue and Elkhart Lake Blue.

Do Stingrays in the wild have one of those cool names for when they become a group? A gaggle? A committee? How about a school? Actually, it turns out that stingrays do have a unique group name and it’s pretty awesome.
A group of Stingrays is called a Fever. To use it in a sentence, this next youtube video you’re about to see contains a fever of Stingrays that were spotted testing somewhere out west, perhaps in Colorado.
We know how much “cool cats” love their Corvettes.
But this was a little out of the ordinary.

We learned today that the transparent roof panel option will not have body color sides as currently depicted on the 2020 Corvette Configurator. Instead, the transparent roof panel will be similar to the transparent roof panel option on the seventh generation Corvette.
With all the much-deserved hoopla over the upcoming C8 Stingray, it’s sometimes easy to push the previous generations that have built the Corvette’s reputation to the side.
