Police in Canada have arrested a 38-year-old man after he flipped his black C7 Corvette, then left the scene of the accident in the Ontario, Canada town of Brampton.

As our friend Tom Stacy says, “You can’t BoP that stat!”
Referring to the Car Corrals at Petit Le Mans, he shares that fact that the Corvette Corral is sold out (has been for months) while the GTLM class-leading Porsche Corral has plenty of parking spaces still available.
So who’s winning the real race?
Addressing IMSA, We recognize that BoP isn’t a perfect science but man does it seem to be applied in very arbitrary situations. And as long as that’s the perception, there is always going to be distrust of the process when you appear to penalize one team to help another.
And yet, despite the appearance of favoritism shown this season to a certain manufacturer, Corvette fans still show up to support their team.

An awesome display of Corvette racing history was unleashed on spectators at this year’s Corvettes at Carlisle. The Corvette Racing display put on parade around the grounds and past the grandstands as Sammy Hagar’s “I Can’t Drive 55” rocked the house.

Chevy could soon be trying to fill a niche in the brake rotor market, according to the website motor1.com.
They say the GM division has filed a patent for branded brake rotors that would have Chevy’s Bowtie logo cut into the surface of the rotor – something that is not available on the market now.
