Earlier we covered the overall numbers for C7 Corvette production. When you break the numbers down by model, new trends appear. The Supercharged Corvette Z06 debuted in 2015 and a total of 39,940 Z06s were built in the five-year run.

The Chevrolet Corvette was born as a convertible and the drop-top models were the most popular for the first 17 years of the Corvette’s formative years. It wasn’t until the third generation and specifically the 1969 model year that a Corvette Coupe would outsell the Convertible models, and they would do so until the Convertible’s demise in 1975.

Here’s your opportunity to honor a man who has played a big role in the success of the National Corvette Museum over the past nearly quarter of a century.

A retirement dinner for outgoing Executive Director Wendell Strode is planned in the NCM Conference Center on Nov. 7 from 5:15 p.m. to 8 p.m., and you’re invited! Dinner is $75 per person, with registration required.

We’ve only see these hybrid mules once before, but at least they are easily identifiable as they are still wearing camo and have a unique front electrical connector and a shut-off switch that protrudes through the front quarter panel.

Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

This will be a short week for Mike as he heads out to Spring Mountain with 20 customers! This week Mike features a few deliveries and one of those was interrupted by an urgent phone call from the buyer’s wife with some cool news you don’t hear every day. Mike also shares some of the reviews he has received and as usual, his collection of throwbacks and vintage Corvette photos is outstanding. Do you have a favorite picture from this week?
