For more years than I can remember now is about how long I’ve had my 1966 Corvette covered through a policy with the Corvette Museum’s NCM Insurance Agency.

Earlier this year I called up my friend Adam Boca to make some changes to my policy, and they were handled quickly and efficiently as expected. As we all need insurance for our classic and collectible Corvettes, I wanted to write up a quick post about my experience with the NCM Insurance Agency.

The Corvette Owner’s School at the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School will officially kick off its new program for the mid-engine 2020 Corvette with the first classes to start in April. And once again, Chevrolet is offering huge savings on the enhanced two-day program for just $1,000.

If you’re wondering whether the latest two generations of Corvettes have saved America’s Sports Car for another generation of owners, just ask a long-time expert who should know firsthand – Mike Yager, chief cheerleader of Mid-America Motorworks.

“The C7 Corvette has turned young people into Corvette people again,” he recently told oldcarsweekly.com. “They may get turned on by the C7, but then they look at their budget and maybe they buy a C6 or a C5 or even a C4.”

Since last week we’ve been talking about a new documentary coming soon from Chevrolet on the development of the Mid-Engine Corvette. The documentary is called “Revolution” and will be offered in two-parts on the Corvette’s media page at Chevrolet.com. Chevrolet will be offering a book version on the same subject, we now have a general idea of when that documentary will premiere.

[SPIED] Those Three C8 Corvette Z06 Prototypes Were Caught Merging onto I5 in Valencia


On Friday evening we caught sight of three C8 Corvette Z06 prototypes in Valencia California and we were happy to see the engineering team benchmarking the Corvette prototypes against a Porsche GT2 RS. The photo showed the three Corvettes and the Porsche pulling into what looked to be a parking lot.

Now we have another confirmed sighting of the camouflaged C8 Corvette prototypes but instead of the Porsche GT2 RS, we have two C8 Corvette Z06s following a Ferrari as they merge onto a Califonia highway.
