Even though Chevrolet has consistently offered more colors for the C8 Corvette than it ever did on America’s Sports Car during the 66 years of its existence prior to going mid-engined, close followers of the model are always clamoring for more. While we usually dream of an exotic Lamborghini green or McLaren purple, today, we don’t even have to go outside of the corporate umbrella of General Motors to find a color that we’d absolutely love to see added to the C8’s order guide.

Chevy dealers received their December 2023 “estimated shipping reports,” which is the number of Corvettes they will be able to match to customer orders for next week’s December order cycle that starts next week. Chevy will send down the constraint report on December 14th and then the matching of orders to allocations will begin.

General Motors’ long-time CEO Mary Barra won’t blow the whistle on future products, like a long-rumored Corvette SUV.

As expected, during an Automotive Press Association event in Detroit this week, the 61-year-old GM leader said no comment about future products to MotorTrend when asked whether the Corvette lineup would be growing even more to include a sport utility vehicle.
