Here’s a great picture that shows just how fast the 1400-car shipping lot at the Bowling Green Assembly Plant is filling with brand spanking new 2014 Corvette Stingrays. We understand that the Quality Control process has been very tight, but with this many Stingrays lined up and ready to go, it most likely means that the QC isn’t finding many issues and production is ramping up.

DVR Alert! New TV Show

A new original TV series called “Corvette Nation” will be making its debut Friday night at 7pm ET on Discovery’s Velocity channel. The 13-episode series dedicated to America’s favorite sports car will feature all sorts of events, people and of course the car that we love so much.

The first episode was shot during the Bloomington Gold Corvette show this past June so if you were there, make sure you tune in.

Apollo XII Astronaut's 1969 Corvette to be Displayed at the Corvette Chevy Expo

We’ve all heard of the AstroVentilation that was used to keep passengers cool in the 1960s and 1970s, sort of a poor man’s air conditioner. But Austin Reed of Texas has an “AstroVette.”

His unusual 1969 Corvette originally belonged to astronaut Alan Bean – the fourth man to walk on the moon nearly 44 years ago – and will be on display Sept. 28-29 at the Corvette Chevy Expo at the Dallas Market Hall.

[VIDEO] C7 Corvette Stingrays Shine at IAA 2013 Motor Show in Frankfurt

Chevrolet is in Germany this week for the 65th annual Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA 2013) and sitting under the large video Chevy Bowtie is the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible and the 2014 Camaro Convertible.

Even though the C7s are currently being tested on German roads with Chevrolet Europe’s Technical Manager Patrick Herrmann’s #C7Experience leading the way, this is the first auto show in Germany for the new Corvette Stingray.
