Last Thursday, the Dream Giveaway called John H. of Pennsylvania to tell him he just won a 1966 Corvette 427 Convertible in the Classic Corvette Dream Giveaway with his ticket #912051. It was the first time the new Orange has been shown on a completed Corvette in public, and now we have some additional photos thanks to our friends at the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com.

With the C8 Corvette Z06 recently announced as coming as a 2023 model, Chevy engineers are working hard to complete the development of the car. Of course, that means track testing which Chevy can do privately in the USA, but a trip to the Nurburgring means the car will have to appear in public.

Spy Photographer Brian Williams aka Speedbilde captured this nearly undisguised 2023 Corvette Z06 prototype as it was making the journey from the auto manufacturer’s garages to the Nurburgring. As the prototype Z06 was without the heaving black camouflage, we get one of the best looks yet at the new model.

Corvettes for Sale: 1971 Corvette LT-1 Offered at No-Reserve on eBay

While the seller of this 1971 Corvette LT-1 promotes it as “the real deal,” we’re not so sure that’s totally accurate since it does have a replacement block.

On the other hand, some 50 years later, the car does retain its LT-1 internals, factory solid lifters, and other original components that made the 1,949 LT-1s produced in 1971 the special vehicles they are.
