Greenwood converted the original fuel-injected 327 to a big-block 427 in 1968, and the car is now up for auction at no reserve on eBay. The current bid is $23,700 with just over three days to go.

Chevrolet already offers Corvette owners a unique way to take delivery of their rides through the R8C delivery program at the National Corvette Museum. Now Chevy is expanding delivery options for other bow-tie models as well. The automaker announced this morning that they are expanding their off-site deliveries of Corvettes and other select Chevrolet models at the Chevrolet Delivery Center at the Daytona International Speedway.
America has a celebrity-driven culture, so some enthusiast will like the idea of owning a 1961 Corvette previously owned by Motley Crue singer Vince Neil.
Vince Neil’s 1961 Corvette will be one of the selections available at McCormick’s Palm Springs collector car auction, marking its 30th anniversary Feb. 26-28 with a move to the Palm Springs convention center. That’ll be convenient for McCormick, whose showroom offices are just a quarter mile away.

Friday was the two year anniversary of the day that a sinkhole opening up in the National Corvette Museum’s skydome, swallowing eight Corvettes and propelling the museum to the highest visitor counts since its founding.
To help tell the story of that fateful day, the Corvette Museum has opened its newest exhibit, “Corvette Cave-In: The Skydome Sinkhole Experience”. Executive Director Wendell Strode, along with the Museum’s Marketing Manager Katie Frassinelli and exhibit designer Roger Barganier, all take turns talking about that bizarre day when the floor fell out and how the museum “turned lemons into lemonade” by embracing the seemingly bad situation and making the best of it.

A C5 Corvette convertible driver is in better shape than his car after an accident Friday on Winters Freeway in Abilene, Texas.
The driver suffered only minor injuries and had to be taken to an Abilene hospital after losing control of his Corvette and slamming into a concrete median, causing the car to burst into flames.
