Earlier this week we shared an instagram photo from Corvette development engineer Cody Bulkley who took the 2024 Corvette E-Ray to participate in the F.A.T. International Ice Race in Aspen, Colorado over the weekend. We had reached out to Chevy communications hoping they would share some actual video of the car on the track and our request was granted with this video posted to the Corvette channel on Instagram.

Whether you have a set of factory alloy wheels or you have customized your ride with a set of aftermarket wheels, your best defense for keeping them clean from brake dust and road grime comes from our friends at GTECHNIQ.

The scientists at GTECHNIQ have developed a specialty formula for your wheels and brake calipers called C5 Wheel Armour and it features an exceptionally fine surface rheology that creates a chemical bond with the wheel that makes it very hard for dirt, stains, and brake dust to adhere to the wheel’s surface. The C5 wheel coating will maintain its integrity with temperatures of over 1100 degrees Fahrenheit, so it’s also suitable for coating your brake calipers and exhaust tips as well.

General Motors made a huge bet when they decided to transition the Corvette from its traditional front engine configuration to the now current mid-engine body style, and with the demise of the Camaro, it’s currently the only performance car offering in the line-up. Based on current sales, the Corvette is also the most expensive model in Chevrolet’s line-up.

Not today, Tesla.

Normally when we see a Tesla on a drag racing video, we just see another soulless EV that has just one thing going for it – all-out acceleration via its massive instant torque. At least, that was our impression before coming across this video of a Tesla Model 3 lining up against a sinister looking C8 Corvette Stingray dressed all in Black.

I remember back in March of 2020 getting a call from my friend Steve Garrett who was thinking about putting his 40 years of experience as a radio announcer to work by starting a weekly Corvette podcast. I’m pretty sure that my reply was “Hell Yes!” and now Steve is celebrating his 200th episode! While I do my bit every couple of weeks with the News and Headlines editions, Steve has really great working in putting together a fantastic roster of shows featuring all the movers and shakers in the Corvette Nation.
