National Corvette Museum Announces 2014 Hall Fame Inductees

In baseball, it’s Cooperstown, New York. In football, it’s Canton, Ohio. In hockey, it’s Toronto, Ontario. For Corvette people, our heroes are enshrined in the Corvette Hall of Fame in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The National Corvette Museum recently revealed their 2014 HOF inductees and this year’s class includes a noted author, a former Assistant Chief Engineer, and a celebrated Corvette racing driver.

[VIDEO] C7 Corvette Stingray Testing at Navak in Serbia

Check out this video that shows Chevrolet testing a trio of C7s – two Torch Reds and a Velocity Yellow – on the Navak track in Belgrad, Serbia.

The Stingray has already been tested on the German Autobahn, where it roared to speeds of 300 km/h, in France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

This was a very humble show that offered a nice break from the major auto industry shows like the 2013 SEMA show — it almost every way, the Vettes for Veterans show on November 9th was the exact opposite of the major industry auto shows of 2013.

Snake River Corvette Club Honors Founding Member at Memorial Service

The Corvette clan lost an original last month when Larry Utley of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away at age 71.

Larry had organized the Snake River Corvette Club, so after he died on Nov. 1, it was no surprise that Corvettes took up a whole block outside of his memorial service.
