Fresh off the successful launch of their 25th Anniversary B2K Corvettes, one of which we showed you from last month’s Bloomington Gold Show, Callaway Cars is back to show off their version of the all new 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible. LAKEVILLE, Conn. – With the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the rearview mirror, Corvette Racing is now driving for the American Le Mans Series GT championship. The series’ fourth round, the American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix, will be contested on Saturday, July 7, in the tight confines of Lime Rock Park. We (and Chevrolet among others) consistently refer to the Corvette at America’s Favorite Sports car. But it’s not just America that Corvette owners love to show their pride and joy. We received an email recently from Hans Tore Tangerud who shared with us a ton of photos from the 20th Anniversary of the Norwegian Corvette club. The great thing about Corvettes is that they appeal to just about everyone. That means sometimes that what one person deems an “ordinary” Corvette might be the “King of the Hill” to another person.

Back in February we told you about the return of the famous B2K option package for Corvettes. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the very first RPO B2K Corvette, Callaway Cars and Bowling Green will be building just 25 2012 Corvettes. We caught up with car #11 at Bloomington Gold last weekend.
