LUSAIL, Qatar (March 1, 2024) – Chevrolet’s new Corvette Z06 GT3.R secured its first pole position Friday as Tom Van Rompuy set the fastest time in the LMGT3 Hyperpole session for TF Sport ahead of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s Qatar Airways Qatar 1812 Km.

Constraints for February 2024 Cycle 2 Ordering

I feel like we are supposed to celebrate Leap Year as a holiday because where else can you score an extra 24 hours to do something great with your life! I don’t know if we’re rolling out the kegs, but these extra hours at the end of February have given us some pretty good news regarding the latest constraints for this February 2024 cycle 2 order cycle.

Last week, Chevrolet had broken with recent tradition by sending out additional allocations for the month, and we found that this order cycle was targeting Stingray orders only. Today, the dealers received their constraints, and the GM order bank is now taking those orders.

Cruising through YouTube last night I came across this video featuring a 2020 Corvette Stingray Z51 running a smoking-fast lap at Laguna Seca. While the Z06 may now be the track attack vehicle of choice for many track-day enthusiasts, the C8 Corvette Z51 is no slouch when it comes to being able to put down fast lap times when in the hands of a capable driver.
