Here is an interesting Corvette spotted on the Boulevard inside the National Corvette Museum. It’s a 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible with the 60th Anniversary package. But as you can see, the Corvette is also wearing the same Indy 500 graphics that the 2013 Corvette ZR1 wore as the Pace Car for the Greatest Spectacle in Racing earlier this year in May.
What’s the more dangerous road? Doing 160 mph at a HPDE at Daytona International Speedway or going 50 mph on US 1 in the Florida Keys?
For Jeff Allen of Key West, Florida, it was the ride home that proved to be disastrous to his 2003 Corvette Z06 when he was hit head on by an alleged drunk driver.

You’ll have another chance to snag this magnificent Corvette at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction next month in Arizona.
Longtime Corvette Museum supporter Harvey Gluck just picked up his 63rd Corvette and this one is a stunner. It’s a 2013 Corvette ZR1 in Night Race Blue with a 60th Anniversary stripe running down the body. Harvey was presented with the ZR1 at the National Corvette Museum by Corvette Marketing Manager John Fitzpatrick.

For a high-powered sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette doesn’t act like it at the gas pump.
Now comes word that the Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Ky., where the Corvette is put together is pretty energy-efficient, too.
The Bowling Green facility has become one of 54 to meet a voluntary energy-reduction challenge from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
It’s not often that someone has the chance to buy a genuine piece of automotive history, with complete documentation since new to prove its heritage.
But that’s what bidders at the upcoming RM Auction in Phoenix, Arizona will have a chance to do on January 18, 2013.
Being offered is one of only 80 L88 Corvettes manufactured in 1968, and RM can trace the history of the most powerful Corvette of the muscle car era back to the original owner.
