[VIDEO] Corvette Racing and 2014 C7 Corvette Announcement from Petit Le Mans

On Thursday afternoon, winners and leaders of their respective ALMS classes talked to the press at Petit Le Mans held at Road Atlanta. Corvette Racing’s Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner talked about winning the ALMS Drivers Championship and Gary Pratt was there to speak about winning the GT Team Championship.

When it was time to talk about Chevrolet winning the ALMS GT Manufacturer’s title, Corvette’s Chief Engineer used the platform to unveil the new 2014 C7 Crossed Flags emblem and the public debut date of 1.13.13.

[ACCIDENT] Corvette and Tahoe Drivers Flee After Fiery Crash in Los Angeles

A Chevy Corvette and Chevy Tahoe that erupted into flames early Monday morning were apparently not street racing after all, according to the latest reports from Los Angeles Police Department Officer Venus Hall.

This iconic drag racer beat up on the competition from 1962 – 1971 with Earl Britt behind the wheel. Britt operated Earl’s Pizza Palace in Sioux Falls, South Dakota when not setting ET records and winning multiple NHRA championships.

The pressure to win the class titles may be off, but the Corvette team has unfinished business in the 10-hour/1,000-mile endurance contest in the red clay hills of northern Georgia on Saturday, Oct. 20.

[VIDEO] Hear the Exhaust Note from the 2014 C7 Corvette

A couple of weeks ago, a gaggle of 2014 C7 Corvette prototypes were caught being tested by a GM engineering team in and around the town of Red River, New Mexico. Many new revelations came from spy photos of those tests including the first pics of the newly redesigned seats and steering wheel.

This new video from Edmund’s Inside Line rehashes some of those items, but at the end we actually get a clear sound of the throaty exhaust sound coming from the Gen V small block which will power the new Corvette.
