The all-new Corvette Z06 GT3.R made its worldwide competition debut last month at IMSA’s Rolex 24 at Daytona and the factory-backed Corvettes both had some highs and lows during the 24-hour race. Both the No.3 and No.4 Corvettes would lead the race for a combined 118 of 773 laps in the GTD Pro class and both teams would finish with points. However, during the overnight hours both Corvettes required a trip behind the wall for repairs and at the time, it wasn’t entirely made clear to the fans as to what had occurred.

Pratt Miller Motorsports has a new recap video from the Daytona kick off which they have titled “New Beginnings.” The recap gives us a much better idea of the Corvette Z06 GT3Rs first race event, and it’s narrated by Corvette Racing Team Manager Ben Bode.
