Yesterday, as we were working to track down all the pricing information for the 2024 Corvette model year that began to leak out, we also learned that Chevrolet had provided some additional 2023 Z06 allocations to select dealers. As these were granted outside the regular order cycle, we’ll call them bonus allocations.

Shocking news for the Corvette Nation and automotive enthusiasts everywhere as Callaway Cars announces the passing of founder Reeves Callaway this morning. Reeves sustained injuries from a fall in his home on July 11th.

When I first started writing about Corvettes in 2005, one of the posts I did was about the five people in the hobby I was hoping to meet one day, and Reeves was on the list. My wish came true as I got the chance to talk with him on multiple occasions. He was the one of the nicest and friendliest people you could ever have a conversation with, and there is no one that could pull off the look of wearing a sport coat and flip flops like Reeves did.

One of my fondest memories of Reeves came when sitting next to him and his son Pete at the official reveal of the 2020 Corvette Stingray in California, and I remember that he audibly gasped when Mark Reuss announced the price of the Stingray would be under $60,000.

We’ll miss you, Reeves. We are saying prayers for you and your family on this very sad day.

Earlier today we were able to drop some nuggets on the pricing for 2024 Corvettes, and it seems like each hour brings us another tidbit.

Earlier today, we learned about the ZER Performance Package being offered at $500 and also have all the wheel pricing for the upcoming hybrid-performance model. We also found out that the R8C Museum Delivery program is seeing a substantial increase of $500 and will now cost $1,495.

This afternoon, we got the info on what we really have been after, which is the trim pricing for each of the three models. Thanks to our friend Rick ‘Corvette’ Conti, we have those figures to share as well.

While our friends at Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City may no longer be the World’s Largest Corvette Dealership, they still remain one of the best places to purchase a new Corvette according to Chevrolet. The automaker has recently bestowed “Dealer of the Year” honors for the Chevy store for 2022, and there was a celebration held earlier this week for the staff as Chevrolet dropped off the new hardware and banner.

As we inch closer to the start of the 2024 Corvette model year, many are believing that next year’s Corvettes will come with a healthy price increase. 2024 will be the fifth year of production for the Corvette Stingray and the second year for the Z06, along with the introduction of the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray.
