Prior to the launch of the C8 Corvette in early 2020, we learned that Chevrolet would be including GM’s new Global B electrical architecture on the mid-engine Corvette. The system is designed to move massive amounts of data from various sensors and control modules throughout the vehicle, and also allows for very convenient over-the-air software updates. One of the main strengths of Global B was that the engine control modules were encrypted to protect the car from hackers and unauthorized updates.

The National Corvette Museum has an upcoming exhibit officially opening on June 30th and it’s called “An American Love Affair – 70 Years of Corvette.” To promote it, they put out a quick teaser video yesterday on their social media channels.
Normally, I wouldn’t share such a short video but this one is very personal to me as the very first image they used is of my late father with his “new” 1966 Corvette Sting Ray. I had provided them with the image last year for feature article on us which appeared in the NCM’s American Sports Car magazine and was quite surprised to see it again here.

[SPIED] Two C8 Corvette Prototypes Went Out for a Drive with the Silverado EVs
Our spy photographer in Detroit had another sighting of engineers driving the 2025 Corvette ZR1 on public streets, at least that’s what we think these SHOULD be. However, the rumored Zora model is also back in the news after another group of engineers driving C8 Corvette prototypes in Colorado were accompanied with what we believed to be the E-Ray. So the question on our mind has been if Corvette engineers are already driving the hybrid-powered Zora model?
