[PIC] Custom Corvette Stingray and Two Matching Power Wheels for the Kids

Start them young and kids will become Corvette fans for life!

We saw this posted by our friend Rick Corvette Conti and asked if we could share it.

We just love this photo of the customized Corvette Stingray with two matching power wheels at a car show. The Stingray is detailed with full length body stripes and there is a touch of red accent on the quarter panel vents. Those details are also shown on the Power Wheels which also have matching ‘Stingray’ windshield banners.

If you start your kids off right and provide the right motivation, they will always have fond memories of the car. Who knows, these two young Corvette enthusiasts might end up owning the new C9 Corvettes sometime in the distant future.

Fisher-Price’s Corvette Stingray power wheels is just about the best future customer acquition tool that’s ever been made.

A yellow C6 Corvette is at the center of a controversy in the most unlikely of places, the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Last week, the Corvette was parked on the grounds of the Western Wall, a holy site, and police have declined to give any details about the vehicle other than confirming that its owner did not receive a ticket for not having the legally required front license plate.

1968 L88 Corvette Sells for $330,000 at Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas

On Saturday evening at Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction, this red/red 1968 L88 Corvette found a new home for the low, low price of $330,000. That’s somewhat surprising given the fact that other 1968 L88 Corvettes have sold for quite a bit more at recent sales.

So what may have caused this prized performance sports car to stumble at BJLV?

We don’t know if there is a much better sound than that of a C7 Z06 screaming around a track.

But Hennessey Performance Engineering may have just come up with it.

Want to see a Corvette Z06 running at top speed on the German Autobahn? Of course you do! The Performance Data Recorder shows us that this driver reached speeds of 320 Km/h which translates to about 198 mph! Unlike the USA, the German traffic sees a faster car coming up behind and moves to the right.

The Corvette Z06 looks to be providing an effortless drive and seems quite tame in normal traffic. But then we hear the exhaust open up and another quick sprint unfolds before us.

When it comes to car spotting, some are better at it than others. For those that aren’t into cars all that much, sometimes the results can be hillarious.

But still, we feel bad (okay, not really) for this Corvette Porsche 918 Spyder owner who at least had the sense of decorum to recognize that correcting the lady when she popped the wrong question would just take too much explaining.

It’s hard to imagine a C7 Z06 sounding any better than the factory exhaust system growls.

But the folks at MagnaFlow have apparently done just that.
