It's awards season again and no I'm not talking about the Oscars. Intellichoice crunched the numbers once again and Chevrolet scored three out of eight categories. Winning the category of Best Car Value over $24,000 was the 2008 Corvette Convertible. The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4WD won Best Truck Value over $27,000 and the Chevrolet Express 1500 won the Best Van Value over $25,000. The Toyota Prius won the Best Car Value under $24,000.
The Best Overall Value of the Year awards are given to those vehicles that deliver outstanding value and lower than expected costs. Intellichoice evaluates what it costs to own and operate a vehicle over time and category winners are recognized for their lower cost of ownership compared to other competitive models in the same class.
