2009 COrvette ZR1
Viewing By Entry / Main
January 19, 2008

This auction has nothing to do with Corvettes, but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun with one of my favorite superheroes. Check out this recreation of one of the most recognizable cars in the world, the 1960's era Batmobile. Constructed out of a 1974 Lincoln, the replica features functional lights, a real flame thrower and gadgets including the Bat Phone.

Introduced by Batman himself (a replica of Adam West?), this car brought out the fans who themselves were decked out in the famous cowl and cape. The car sold for $185,000 and with the 10% buyers commission, total sales price crested over the 200 large mark to $203,500.
