Check out the view of the Detroit Grand Prix on Belle Isle from the passenger seat of the Corvette Z06 pace car. The video, which features Corvette Chief Engineer Tom Wallace, shows us the track and its amazing just how tight this course is. With the amount of traffic from the LMP1 and P2 prototypes to GT2 cars, our boys in the GT1 Corvette C6.R's will have their work cut out for them come Saturday.
The Detroit Sports Car Challenge presented by Bosch, the 10th round of the 12-race ALMS series, will start at 3:15 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Sept. 1. The two-hour, 45-minute race will be televised live on SPEED Channel.
