Usually the combination of the words "engine" and "barbeque" bring out the worst fears in any gear head, with visions of a torched engine compartment full of burnt metal and molten plastic. However, two enterprising guys have turned the negative combination of words into a delectably positive one.
Trent Whatley and Terry Bacon converted a real Chevy V8 engine into a propane gas grill capable of 60,000 BTU's. It's the ultimate grill for any die-hard Chevy fan. And I love the fact that it's mounted to an engine stand.
I think these guys may have just stumbled onto a business. Imagine the possibilities. The big block grill for people who like entertaining, the small block grill for everyday use, or customize an old battery into a grill for the greenies. Extending the brand, you got the Hemi grill or the Ford 350 Cleveland grill. The idea is awesome and it sure beats the Weber I got out back.
