Lou Gigliotti of LG Motorsports loves to get his hands on the new stuff and there's nothing newer than the 6.2 liter LS3 V8 engine in the 2008 Corvette. Last week, Lou had delivered to his Dallas-based tuning shop a Red 2008 Corvette with an automatic A6 paddle shift transmission. The Corvette had just 29 delivery miles on it.

Totally stock with no changes, the LS3 dyno'd at 370.8 rear wheel hp and 363.8 rear wheel torque. Click below for the graph.

LS3 Dyno Sheet 2008 Corvette LS3 Engine

Following the thread at CorvetteForum.com, Lou has been experimenting with different setups on the LS3, swapping cams, headers and other tuner tricks to maximize performance. With his LG G7X-4 Cam, LG Pro Long Tube Headers, and a K&N Air Charger, the Corvette dyno'd at 484 rwhp and 440 rwtq. That's Z06 territory, folks!

Lou also has an LS3 with a 6-Speed manual transmission coming in this week so we are real interested to see what the bone-stock dyno will be for that Corvette.
