Check out this excellent recap of Corvettes at Carlisle by Stu Schwartzapfel, who writes for the Man on the Move blog. In addition to describing the sites and sounds of Carlisle in detail, Stu tells the story of being on the hunt for a 1965 Fuelie. After finding a likely candidate, he ran into Corvette Repair’s Kevin Mackay whose quick look-over discovered some inconsistencies.

Corvette Racing made waves when they announced a shake up in the drivers lineup two days before racing at Mosport. Olivier Beretta discusses his shift to the #3 Corvette C6.R where he joined Johnny O’Connell. Program Manager Doug Fehan tells us the change is an effort to minimize setups on the GT Corvette, which he called “sensitive to change”.

[VIDEO] Auction Employee Gets Busted After Hooning Corvette ZR1

An employee of Manheim’s Dallas auto auction has been found out as the guy who took a Corvette ZR1 for a quick spin in a parking lot, with burnouts and power slides part of the non-inspiring repertoire. Unfortunately for him, it wasn’t his car and he didn’t have permission and now the dealer that took possession of the ZR1 is demanding his arrest. Corvette Grand Sport Does a Hot Lap of the 'Ring

Here’s a video posted on Facebook by the FIA GT1 World Championship guys showing a stock Corvette Grand Sport on a hot lap of the Nurburgring. Who doesn’t love a Corvette attacking the green hell, right? But what makes this video really interesting is that the Grand Sport doing the hot lap is wearing Michigan Manufactuer license plates. [VIDEO] 1960 #3 Le Mans Corvette Historic Return Documentary Trailer

When Lance Miller set out to return the #3 Briggs Cunningham 1960 Corvette and its driver John Fitch to Le Mans for the 50th anniversary of the cars win, he was accompanied by Corvette collector and documentary filmmaker Michael Brown who captured the experience in HD. A fall release of the feature-length documentary as well as a book are expected. While we wait, a trailer of the coming film has been released.

[VIDEO] Classic Corvette Dodges Bullet at Nurburgring

This midyear Corvette was parked alongside one of the turns at the famous Nurburgring in Germany and from the video it appears the car was stalled. Not a great place to be as a recent rainstorm had passed through leaving the track wet and several cars had trouble navigating the turn as the video shows. Eventually, the driver got the Corvette started and was able to move to a safer location.

Check out this great video of a Torch Red Corvette ZR1 driven hard by the very capable Juan Pablo Montoya at the Milford Proving Ground’s road course affectionately known as the Lutz Ring. Montoya currently drives a Chevy in NASCAR and won the checkered flag two weeks ago at Watkins Glen. So what did he do to celebrate his win? By scaring the hell out of people who rode shotgun in the ZR1.
