If the new Corvette Stingray isn’t quite distinctive enough for you, then you might want to check out the eBay auction going on right now for a Forgiato Widebody C7 Corvette Stingray, one of which was on display at SEMA in November.
We found a video today at www.forgiato.com that shows two of the distinctive “Aston Martin Blue” Forgiato Stingrays weaving their way down a city street. We’re not sure if the car for sale now is one of those or not.
Here’s another one of John Greenwood’s infamous Corvette Sport wagons. Part Corvette, part station wagon, it’s the ultimate sport utility vehicle. This yellow 1975 Corvette was recently pulled from a garage where it sat for 10 years and if you’re interested in becoming its next owner, you’ve now got less than one day to get in on this eBay deal before the sale closes on Tuesday afternoon.
There aren’t many names more familiar to the Corvette enthusiast than that of Ralph Eckler, founder of Eckler Corvette Parts, which has grown into one of the top suppliers of quality Corvette parts and accessories over the past 40 years.
Mr. Eckler is now retired from the company that bears his name, but that doesn’t mean his love for Corvettes has gone away.
Just the opposite. He’s now taken his enthusiasm for Corvettes to a new and exciting level with the introduction of his Ralph Eckler Signature Car Collection.
Don’t want to wait for the awe-inspiring 2015 Corvette Z06 to arrive in dealer showrooms next year?
Then Supervettes has the answer for you.
A boost from Hennessey Performance proved to be enough for a 2014 Corvette Stingray to crack the 200mph barrier for the first time on Dec. 11.
The Stingray had been upgraded with a Hennessey HPE600 system that boosts the car’s horsepower to 600 from the factory 460, as well as a Nitrous Express 100-hp nitrous oxide system.
Get ready for some beautiful sounds when you watch this video of Corvette legend John Heinricy test driving a 2014 Corvette Stingray with the Hennessey HPE600 package.
The last four minutes are pure music to Corvette enthusiasts as Heinricy, who has just been named one of three inductees to the 2014 Corvette Hall of Fame, lets the modified Z51 do the talking as he puts it through the paces on a track outside of Houston, Texas at the Hennessey Performance Group’s facility.
Our friends at Callaway continue to amaze us with the number of projects they have going. After announcing their C7 Aerowagon Shooting Brake and the 570 hp Callaway SS Sedan were greenlighted for 2014, the project we really wanted to know about – the C7 Callaway Corvette – can now be ordered from Callaway dealers.
They call it a 1961 Kelly Corvette Coupe.
But if it didn’t say Corvette on the door panels, you probably wouldn’t think it had any connection at all to the Chevrolet sports car.
