We know it’s hard to believe, but this year Corvettes at Carlisle will celebrate its 32nd year of putting on one of the nation’s biggest and best Corvette shows. Led by the spirit of Chip Miller, the Carlisle staff outdoes itself every year and this year is no exception.
In addition to celebrating the long and storied history of the Corvette as a street car, this year’s show during August 22-24 at the Fairgrounds in Carlisle, PA will celebrate the power and success of Corvette on the race track with two racecar exhibits—one featuring the cars of the Corvette Challenge series and the other highlighting Corvette racing in general.

A new chapter at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway kicks off this week with the running of the first ever IndyCar Series Grand Prix of Indianapolis this weekend and the Corvette Stingray will be up front for all the action.
That’s because the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible will be serving as the Pace Car for the inaugural race.
If you were hoping that this was the official Go-Fast lap for the 2014 Corvette Stingray on the Nurburgring, we are sorry to disappoint.
Last year as Chevrolet was working on suspension testing for the European version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray, part of that testing took place at Germany’s Nurburgring. Since then, Corvette enthusiasts have been clammoring for video of a fast lap at the ‘ring, but according to Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter, that didn’t happen due to inclimate weather which interrupted their one and only opportunity.
New Chevrolet Corvette C7.R a winner again in California
MONTEREY, Calif. (May 4, 2014) – It wasn’t nearly as easy as last time, but Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen scored their second straight GT Le Mans victory in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship on Sunday. The duo won a hard-fought battle for the second consecutive season at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca – this time in their No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R.
At the 2014 Corvette Museum’s Bash in Bowling Green, KY, Corvette Racing Program Manager Doug Fehan and No. 4 Corvette C7.R driver Tommy Milner conducted a question and answer session with Corvette enthusiasts. The session covered a wide range of topics including the testing and development of the C7.R and race recaps of the Daytona 24, Sebring and Long Beach.
Riding high after first victory for Corvette C7.R at Long Beach
DETROIT (April 29, 2014) – Fresh of its first victory of 2014 with the new Chevrolet Corvette C7.R, Corvette Racing heads back to California where it looks to win for the third straight season at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The two-hour Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix is the fourth round of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, and Corvette Racing looks to keep rolling as well as moving up in the GT Le Mans standings.
The NCM Bash celebrating the new Corvette models took on an international flavor Friday with the announcement that Michelin will be first official sponsor of the NCM Motorsports Park. The three-year agreement names Michelin as the official tire of the NCM Motorsports Park and provides the company with product privileges and displays at both the Museum and the Park.
Michelin will also serve as the presenting sponsor for three events to be held at the NCM and the Motorsports Park during the term of the contract.
